Families may be eligible for other programs that provide ongoing or more comprehensive support. These programs may better meet your needs depending on age, diagnosis, or eligibility.  Select the option that best describes your situation to explore programs you may be eligible for:

I am caring for a child (birth–21) with a disability or complex needs: You may want to explore:

  • Children’s Long-Term Care Support (CLTS)
    • Provides Medicaid-funded supports and services for children with disabilities and complex needs.
  • Children’s Community Options Program (CCOP)
  • Care4Kids
    • Care4Kids helps children and teens in foster care find the health services they need.
  • Children with Medical Complexity Programs
    • Available through hospitals in Madison, Marshfield, and Milwaukee.
      Eligibility typically extends from birth through age 26, with some policy considerations for ages 21–26.
  • Katie Beckett Medicaid
    • Provides Medicaid coverage for children with long-term disabilities or complex medical needs, regardless of parental income.
