Leslie plays a key role at RCAW, managing information and referrals and overseeing all grant programs for family caregivers. She also represents RCAW on various committees, helping advance the organization’s mission and ensure its voice is heard.
With a background in the service industry, Leslie has worked with individuals of all ages and brings a strong focus on relationship-building, communication, and person-centered care. She has led teams with an emphasis on both quality outcomes and regulatory compliance, always aiming to improve quality of life for those she serves.
Her advocacy for respite care was shaped while facilitating Parkinson’s support groups, where she witnessed the impact of caregiver burnout firsthand. This experience, along with her earlier work as a Life Enrichment Coordinator in senior living, informs her commitment to supporting caregivers. Her connection to this work is also personal, having grown up alongside her grandmother, who lived with Alzheimer’s disease.
Outside of work, Leslie is a mother of two and a mental health advocate who promotes the importance of respite care. She enjoys traveling, hiking, and practicing yoga, and values time for personal growth and connection with nature.
