WI Respite Summit

WI Respite Summit 2021
July 28-29, 2021

601 Michigan Ave N
Stevens Point, WI 54481

Respite Care Association of Wisconsin is pleased to present the 2021 Wisconsin Respite Summit.

This is a two-day event. Both days have related topics but are not a continuum of each other. You have the option of choosing one or both days in the registration link.

At the Summit, RCAW is excited to share the projects developed over the last year through the Federal Lifespan Respite Enhancement Grant, along with the programs that RCAW provides through its state funding. RCAW will also use this opportunity to hear from you, the stakeholders in the respite community, about current respite issues throughout the state.

You should attend if you are involved with respite care or any population that would benefit from respite services. This would include: caregivers of older adults, children and adults with disabilities, caregivers and advocates of underserved populations, disability organizations, ADRCs, and long-term care partners. We will all come together, connect, and support each other so that we can continue to build respite programs in Wisconsin.

Summit Goals

Summit Participants will:

  1. Learn about the activities supported by the Wisconsin Lifespan Respite Grant to improve access to respite to underserved populations
  2. Learn about respite related activities from partners across Wisconsin
  3. Identify opportunities for collaboration to enhance the lifespan respite system in Wisconsin
  4. Provide feedback on current respite issues in Wisconsin
  5. Inform the development of a comprehensive survey to assess the current state of respite in Wisconsin
